Career assistant

The problem

Visitors to a portfolio usually have to look for the information on their own.

This portfolio includes an assistant that answers questions about my career.

The goal is to answer questions about experience, education and projects.

How it works

   Question

   You type the question or speak into the microphone, depending on browser support. Voice capture listens for one question at a time.

   Context

   The question goes along with the recent conversation history and the knowledge base about my career.

   Answer

   The answer is generated through the Claude API integration and appears on screen as it arrives.

   Fallback

   If the AI service is unavailable, the assistant answers from the local knowledge base and says the answer came from it.

The assistant works in Portuguese and English and follows the site’s light or dark theme.

   Context before the answer

   The application includes a dedicated knowledge base about my career to guide the assistant’s answers.

   An alternative when AI is unavailable

   The assistant can answer from that knowledge base when the AI service is unavailable.

   Conversation and microphone

   Recent conversation history accompanies each question. The interface supports microphone input, depending on browser support.

   Scope of the answers

   The assistant only answers about professional information published on this site. Requests outside that topic get a short refusal and a pointer to LinkedIn.
